In 2011, I was concerned about the on-going issue of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster and how the emitted radiation damaged the sheep in north Wales. I produced a series of paintings as discussions took place to lift the ban on the movement and sale of sheep that grazed on the polluted fields of Wales. The last remaining post-Chernobyl restrictions on sheep movements were lifted in March 2012.
